@missmkirk In the context of how the conversation has gone on Twitter the last two days, everybody is screaming over each other. We could probably frame everything a little better and with more compassion. Me included!

Getting a basic dental cleaning is more uncomfortable than getting a pap smear tbh

PCOS is being renamed to PMOS. (Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome) The change comes from experts that say the old name was misleading, stating that it inaccurately suggested ovarian cysts as a defining feature.

ADHD often hides behind preparation that people never see. Things like planning what to say, staying on track, and managing distractions don't happen automatically, so the brain compensates by rehearsing to avoid losing the thread or saying the "wrong" thing. By the time you're actually having the conversation, it can look smooth on the outside, but that's only because of all the effort that happened beforehand.
CHASE♻️🌐@July23zo

ADHD is hearing "you don't seem like you're struggling" from someone who doesn't realize you practiced this entire conversation three times beforehand

I’m in a Facebook group of parents of matriculating college freshpersons and every day or so there’s something like this; it is INCONCEIVABLE that either of my parents would have given five percent of this much of a shit about something like this

gen Z does not exist. 1997 - 2002 are baby millennials with impressive media literacy and 2003 - 2010 are geriatric gen alphas suffering from algorithmic brainrot and homophobia.

@softlxnar This definitely makes more sense than confining it to just cystic symptoms. I’m happy research is being done

Lots of people are finding this redundant but actually it is helpful and a step in the right direction. I have PCOS and it took me years to be diagnosed because I don’t have the polycystic ovaries component of the diagnosis.

As I’ve said in other replies, I am typically covered from collarbone to toe. Arguing that you get to ogle at my body because it exists is extremely low iq. But if you’re gonna look then i might as well walk around naked right? What’s the point of wearing clothing if you’re going to perv at me? Right?

@missmkirk @RichardWaggles @escapefrommelos Complaining about men taking a peak at your tits while purposefully wearing clothes that show off your tits is hilarious. I sometimes wonder if women actually have a left side to their brains.
