To eradicate it, we need better therapies, more advanced diagnostic tools, vaccines and strong health care system. We also need greater investments towards a holistic approach towards TB, that also includes social support for patients.

To commemorate #WorldTBDay2025, we hosted a symposium at @StellenboschUni & @MRCza Centre for TB Research. The 2025 theme: 'Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver'. We were privileged to have speakers covering areas relevant to the theme. @SuMBHG @SUImmunology @SUhealthsci
