@RetroRGB @SneedPlays Very nice! I saw a list of resolutions it works with; wondering how it’ll do with weird HDMI timings like from a GBAConsolizer. Mine always caused havoc with my LG CX; so much so I needed to factory reset it a few times.

@ToddsNerdCave Looks great; hoping you offer kits or complete units at some point. Does it make sense to have the screen angle tilted back a little though? It’d make it more comfortable to use on a desk looking downwards towards it.

Another update on my #MiSTerFPGA desktop arcade unit. Now with a GRS LED Trackball and Spinner control panel. This one took some extra time as I had to work up some secret sauce to be able to navigate the menus. Watch the video for more details.

35 years ago, Mean Machines featured NES Duck Tales on its cover. We rated the game 90%. Other top reviews: SMS California Games 93% and Pac-Mania 90%, Game Boy Contra 91%, NES Gauntlet II 90%, and Mega Drive Gynoug 88%. Bit of a quiet post-Xmas month, but some goodies to be had!

PS3 controller authentication was a lot easier to circumvent. Wireless DualShock4 and DualSense and wired Xbox 360 controllers working on an unmodded PlayStation 3 console. Full button, triggers, player led, rumble, and gyro passthrough.

@FIfIKnowAnymore @OnThisDayGaming The units weren’t very distinct from each other visually, and I don’t know why they opted for the bleak tone when the series has always been bright and cartoony. I much preferred Dual Strike. It killed any sequel happening unfortunately.

@onlinedeadline @OnThisDayGaming Not a step down imo, just different. The way COs were units on the field and the way powers work was a fun change of pace.
