PAN IIT Hyderabad SUMMIT 2026 is a huge success...!!! Malkajgiri MP Shri Eatala Rajender ji attended as a chief guest and inaugurated the session. Around 600+ delegates have attended the event from various IITs. The summit served as a major convergence point for policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs and members of the global IIT alumni network. With reference to the "Seva Sankalp Resolution" adopted by the Union Cabinet, Pr. Additional Director General, NACIN, Mumbai convened a meeting of NACIN, Mumbai staff on 02.03.2026 wherein he administered the "Seva Sankalp Resolution" adopted by the Union Cabinet to all the officers of NACIN, Mumbai. In the said meeting, it was decided to adopt and implement the Seva Sankalp Resolution in principle by NACIN, Mumbai and apply the same in the day-to-day work of NACIN, Mumbai.

Yesterday, the press conference of PANIIT HYDERABAD SUMMIT 2026 was held at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad. PANIIT will support the India – AI Impact Summit 2026, a flagship global gathering to be hosted by the Government of India under the IndiaAI Mission. Prabhat Kumar, IRS, Chairman, PANIIT Alumni India, Ashok Kumar, General Secretary, PAN-IIT, Sudhakar Gande, Convener, PAN-IIT Hyderabad Summit 2026, and Prof. Muralikrishna, Co-Chair of the Summit and other members were participated.

The Valediction Ceremony of the Induction Training Course for Inspectors of CGST & C. Ex. of Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Goa Zones was held on 13th February, 2026 at NACIN, Zonal Campus, Mumbai. The programme commenced with an impressive Passing-out Parade by the officer trainees in the presence of Shri Prabhat Kumar, Principal Additional Director General, NACIN, Mumbai, Shri Rajesh Kumar Verma, Commissioner (CGST & C. Ex.), Raigad, Shri Akhilesh Pandey, Commissioner (CGST & C. Ex.), Thane, Shri Anirudh Kulkarni, Commissioner (in-situ), NACIN, Mumbai and other senior officers of NACIN, Mumbai. The parade was accompanied by the Navi Mumbai Police Band, whose disciplined and spirited musical performance lent dignity and solemnity to the occasion.

On this occasion a comprehensive course overview highlighting the academic, physical, and field training components of the 14-week induction programme was presented by Shri Anirudha Kulkarni, Commissioner (in-situ), NACIN, Mumbai. This was followed by valuable feedback shared by officer trainees Shri Harshit Katiyar, Shri Khushwant Singh Akherajot and Ms. Sakshi Tiwari, who expressed gratitude, on behalf of all the trainees, towards the faculty and the institution for their guidance and support. After that certificates & medals were given to the winners of the sports events and other extracurricular activities by the esteemed dignitaries. Shri Prabhat Kumar, Principal Additional Director General, NACIN, Mumbai, Shri Rajesh Kumar Verma, Commissioner (CGST & C. Ex.), Raigad, Shri Akhilesh Pandey, Commissioner (CGST & C. Ex.), Thane addressed the officer trainees and enriched them with their words of wisdom and vast experience in the department. Officers were advised to value discipline, integrity, and ethical conduct in their life and uphold the principle of “India before self” in all their actions. The ceremony ended with the national anthem.

Shri Prabhat Kumar, Pr. Additional Director General, NACIN, Mumbai interacted with the officer trainees (Inspectors of CGST & C. Ex.), presently undergoing induction training at NACIN, Mumbai, on 10.02.2026. During the interaction, he enlightened the officer trainees about their role in the Department when they go back to field formations after training. He advised them to put the knowledge and experience gained during training in practice while working in the field formations and work without any fear and favour. He also emphasised on following the rules and regulations scrupulously to prevent leakage of tax revenue. He also advised the officers to follow “Glass Box” method of reasoning to arrive at any decision for the sake of transparency.
