More selling pressure -> prices drop -> need to allocate more incentives -> adds more selling pressure -> ... At the moment, I can only think of ve- type tokenomics that can counteract this downward spiral. Otherwise, AVSs will need to move away from accepting ETH as stake.

One of the biggest challenges of the restaking category is that if you pay staking rewards in your native token to people putting up ETH (or BTC or some other asset) as collateral, they will just sell these tokens to earn more of the asset they already hold. So rewards = direct sell pressure. This is not a problem you have in normal PoS systems.

Some dos/dont's: 1. don't enable inflation on block 1 or VP will get rekt 2. delegate as much of what you want to delegate through genesis instead of later or VP will get rekt 3. Give Investors vested allocation from genesis, don't send them tokens 4. Create a war room with Service providers 5. If Tendermint, set a launch time not just let everybody get online 1 by 1, every minute in the death zone (66%) is one too many 6. Clearly label versioning through the Standardized v0.0.0 format and name the upgrades/launches 7. Provide time for genesis creation, no need to rush now. 8. If airdrop, put it in genesis - no need to have people claim. 9. Be clear about the non-existence of non-native versions of the token 10. Support Ledger or Msigs for validators from day 1 11. Don't re-use ANYTHING from Testnet, new state, new keys, new everything! 12. People WILL bridge, even if you don't want to yet. Claim the paths and contracts you need 13. Spread binary publically before launch, verification and time to test is key 14. Pre-create Chain-registry, wallet registries and other commits into a personal repo, push with github actions when launching 15. Smile, its your special day 💜

@Leozayaat But L2s could change user behavior here by incentivizing home grown Dexes. Like Aerodrome is consistently ahead of Uniswap on Base, so it seems doable.

Curious how the other L2s feel about Unichain. Given Unichain is a general purpose L2, I can't imagine L2s feeling comfortable to push or incentivize Uniswap deployments on their own L2s.

@lounlee0 Will cross-chain liquidity come into use any time soon? Also, even they are relevant, don't L2s want liquidity on *their* chain? Why wouldn't L2s just push for home grown Dexes now as opposed to pushing for Uniswap?

@proofofjk As long as Uniswap has significant cross-chain liquidity, other L2s would have no choice but to deploy it. And txs will still pay the fee for them (although it'd be smaller than swaps on each chain) so why not?
