In your financial life introspection is key, you need to always seek out what takes money from you and ask if it makes sense that you spend certain sums on certain things. Early in life my Mom gave me her old car, a Nissan Prairie and of course I was excited, I immediately took it for repairs and painted it and then started driving it, then it hit me after one or two repairs, that I didn't have the means to maintain a car, it had become a liability. No one told me before I sold it and what I did with the funds is a story for another day. Today i comfortably manage a fleet of vehicles for my businesses and they're mostly assets. My point here is that certain gifts might not just be ripe for you just yet. . .
