Today I completed the ENTIRE APPALACHIAN TRAIL :) 162 days. 2,193 miles. Thank you to everyone who helped, supported, & encouraged me along the journey.

So bittersweet connecting and reminiscing with my old Gnip, DES, and @TwitterBoulder family tonight. Twitter the product and the people who built & operate it have had an incalculable impact on my life. So much gratitude and admiration for all of you.

Alright @TwitterBoulder fam (current, former, and ex-Gnip folks too). Swing by Bohemian Biergarten today bet 4-6pm, and I’ll buy you a beer. Tough day. But if you’re up for connecting with others, come down and let’s celebrate this community that transcends any job or company.

A profitable privately owned Twitter might be more durable in the long run than a publicly traded growth-focused one. But the rules of acceptable behavior or speech shouldn’t be controlled by the private owners.

🛫 quick trip to SF for the first time in 3 years… Kind of wild it’s been that long!

Wind is settling down a bit here in S Boulder and power is starting to return to the neighborhood. Thinking of all the people impacted in a couple miles away and hoping the worst had passed.

Closing thoughts, mostly for myself - Don't forget to connect with that family member/friend/coworker - You are unlikely to regret a moment sitting in the sun, reading a good book or a good adventure - Curate time/attention because all those small moments add up to your life

"Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you got 'til it's gone" Thinking about the arc and fragility of life a lot this year. Nothing insightful to add but find myself pondering how best to spend this precious and finite gift of life.

For all who work hard like me to get the amt of time spent waiting at DEN to an absolute minimum, I have an update for you: Pre-check is no longer available at south security (by hotel) and is now only avail at north security (by walkway to terminal A). You’re welcome.
