🔥If Gov. @SpanbergerForVA signs the "Assault Weapons Ban" before her deadline on Monday, the best pro-2A attorneys in America are at the helm at @AAGDhillon’s @CivilRights division ready to sue. Spanberger would be wise to veto before this becomes the hottest case against gun control in the country.

As we wish you well in this role, @DAGToddBlanche, we also respectfully urge you to use your time as Acting AG to aggressively carry out President Trump’s February 2025 pro-gun executive order, clear the way for stalled ATF rulemaking reversing Biden-era gun controls, and ensure the DOJ - as a whole - sides with the Second Amendment in ALL court cases every time. We need more of the serious pro-2A litigation already being advanced by @AAGDhillon and @CivilRights. Time is running out to lock in durable protections for gun owners before the next blue wave. There is still far too much work left to do.

The @CivilRights Division has had a very productive week under the leadership of @AAGDhillon: 1. On Monday, we sued Minnesota for letting boys compete against girls in youth sports. 2. On Wednesday, we sued Idaho for refusing to turn over its voter rolls to ensure only eligible citizens are registered to vote. 3. On the same day, we pushed back against DC's effort to dismiss our suit seeking to protect law-abiding gun owners' rights to keep and bear arms. 4. Today, we sued the Missouri State High School Association for adopting DEI-based quotas for its board. Stay tuned.

@2aHistory The 30 year-long Constitutional Carry state-level fight was met with it's fair share of weak Republicans being obstacles. Many lost primaries because of their opposition. 2A activists, members of groups like @gunrights, & based bill sponsors really get the credit for the wins.

By the way the only Reason pro-gun NORTH CAROLINA isn't a Constitutional Carry state yet is because of State Reps Ted Davis & William Brisson refused to override the Governors Veto. Both opted to retire instead of face voters in 2026.
