@stevelitchfield You can get a 2019 Kia Optima phev estate for money that is similar to the cost of yaris [14-16k] For that you will get loads of space and a realistic range of 25 miles ev only range. I used to have a saloon version of this and it was good. I would also look at Kia Niro phev

@gsprmtys @ChargePlaceScot It's annoying, yes, but they have locked themselves into a contract, most likely for a year, so now they have to charge it. Expect prices falling come April. At least I think they will. There is hardly anyone using chargers where I live.

In my 33 years career in software development, I've seen at least three or four bouts of mad rush caused by the panic to hire software developers. Every now and then, our industry goes into a frenzy where the demand outweighs the supply by at least a 1 to 10 factor.👇

I'm truly puzzled by the market for Android engineers; we been looking but hard to find ones with strong engineering and product sense. Do they exist? Most tenured people seem to be turned into Android infra unlike iOS where people build apps and experiences

@RyanRadia @LupineChemist @scottlincicome Bulk of our houses is built differently to the US wooden stick houses. The need for air con is much lower here. In fact most modern single houses should be built in a way that does not necessitate use of air con.

@LupineChemist @scottlincicome Here's a map of where Europe needs air conditioning. Basically, everywhere that isn't the darkest shade of blue (over 150 mean cooling degree days). Ideally, though, you'd have it at an even lower threshold.

We really don't talk enough abt Europe's serious appliance deficiencies (and not just dryers). Easily a Top-5 Europe Problem. Josh is doing good and important work here.
