@MacroAlf Both are US GAAP. Even if it is determined that they should have converted HTM to AFS, the unrealized g/l still hits AOCI on BS, not PL. Unless trading securities short term or converting to trading securities, not going to hit PL. Unrealized g/l on HTM are disclosed in FS notes.
