@MatthewCappucci Everyone has ignored the obv. Don’t you access to free lifetime @WaffleHouse waffles as 2023 Weatherperson of the Year?

Anyone else ever transferred their life savings from one bank to another? I'm in a weird twilight zone where everything has exited one account but hasn't yet made it into the other (traffic in cyberspace?). Maybe I'll make waffles at home today just to be on the safe side. 😅

@doinggoodagency Great overview @doinggoodagency and still needed, despite Mastercard’s announcement that nonprofits would be exempt unless they had high charge backs.

Predictable next steps after the Alito opinion becomes law: a nationwide abortion ban, followed by a push to roll back rights to contraception, same-sex marriage, sexual privacy, and the full array of textually unenumerated rights long taken for granted. washingtonpost.com/nation/2022/05…

Only thing that makes #Election2020 week bearable is being able to discuss it with my #progressive co-workers. I'm very lucky.

@JamesSurowiecki IMHO the stats are misleading. Like Latinx community, Asian Americans are diverse immigrant communities; party affiliation and engagements varies; and access to multi-lingual voter education and voting resources can be a real problem. Check out @APIAVote for more info

Why has Asian-American voting turnout historically been so dismal (typically, fewer than half of eligible A-A voters vote)? Language? Class? Location (most Asian-Americans live in states where the outcome of presidential elections is effectively pre-determined)?
