A 18LPA salary may sound great but let's breakdown it to understand where it fits for a family of 4 in big cities. > CTC - 18 per annum. > In-hand after tax and PF - 1.2L > Rent + maintenance - 40k > Cab or petrol - 5k > School for 2 kids - 30k (This is very conservative estimate) > Grocery - 15K > Clothes + shopping - 10k > Electricity+ internet bills - 5k > Health and term insurance - 5k > Travelling to home town 1-2 times yearly and some other miscellaneous expenses - 10k > Self care - 5k (just kidding, you've no money left for this) There is nothing fancy here, no holidays, no party, no dependent parents, still If you calculate this, you will struggle to meet your monthly expenses in that 18LPA salary. Imagine on top of that if you have dependent parents or health issues. That means even when you're earning 7 times more than the average national per capita income, you're somehow just managing with zero savings and uncertainty of job loss. Wonder if any Govt data capture the real pain of salaried class taxpayers in big cities.

Is it just me, or the @Razorpay's subscription product is utterly terrible? We've been using it for @RealDSA_ The whole UX of getting the subscription started is so bad. You show @PhonePe as the first option and it never works. There is no helpful error message for some reason, it's just there and it doesn't work. The page doesn't redirect to the original site from which you got redirected. Now we've had incidents where now the user's card is not charged the second time around. Yes, I understand there are other players out there and yes, we'll evaluate moving to them, but you have to agree that @RazorPay is still pretty popular.
