For context, China's lunar capsule Mengzhou completed a pad launch abort system test earlier this year.
Orion did this back in 2019.
Mengzhou hasn't done an uncrewed test flight.

China is hoping to fly the rocket for their lunar program, the Long March 10A, for the very first time this year with a test flight of their lunar lander.
Every rocket needed for the Artemis landings has already completed successful flights.
It's a close contest that comes down to who runs into more delays getting the final pieces together, but it is ludicrous to claim we do not have a viable plan.

We are behind China in the race back to the moon. They have a lander and a viable plan to get it to the moon by 2030. We do not. This Artemis II "around the moon" thing was a stunt, not a dress rehearsal for a future moon mission.
