Endurance is going through a variety of tests ahead of launch in Florida. First one complete: modal testing ✅ We used sensors to measure how our lunar lander will respond to launch conditions. The test was performed with Endurance mounted on both the New Glenn flight Launch Vehicle Separation System (LVSS) and a GS2 payload adapter.

PSA: I think it’s probably best to not walk into the middle of unknown gas plumes if you happen to find yourself in this situation.
In this case, it’s probably oxygen but it’s equally likely that it’s a massive liquid nitrogen purge. If there is no obvious indication (which in this situation there isn’t, and never will be) then it’s best not to risk winding up in the middle of an oxygen depleted environment.
Despite that, this is an amazing FPV of standing in front of the Starship Integration Tower during testing events.

@ozevituu @canalCCore2 It's because of all the crewed launch vehicles, Soyuz 2 is the smallest by quite a large margin. Falcon 9 (US) - 7.6MN, Long March 2F (China) - 6.5MN, LVM3 (India) - 12.1MN, Soyuz 2 4.1MN.

With 39A becoming a primarily Falcon Heavy and Starship pad, we don’t actually need two operational droneships on the east coast to maintain our Falcon manifest. Think of pads/drone ships like airplane runways where you need a landing runway for each takeoff runway (ideally they are the same runway I.e. starship). ASOG can support 4 day launch cycle time with RTLS missions in parallel. This is exactly how we operate on the west coast! JRTI will join the “you’ll thank me later” ship to support Starship and SupeHeavy transport from Starbase to the Cape. We have a plan for any double down range Falcon Heavy missions 🚀🚀🚀

Also, with only one drone ship SpaceX loses the ability to recover Falcon heavy side cores on the ocean. It’s RTLS or sacrificing the whole stack to the dark gods of delta V.

As much as I hate to stir this up again... this is my first time ever being community noted so I feel obligated to acknowledge it.
To be clear, I think community notes are a super helpful feature and in this case seems to have been necessary for a good number of people. No arguments there.
What I find extremely disingenuous about this note is that it portrays the post as intentional miss information, instead of clarifying the intended meaning behind it. This would make sense had I simply posted it and walked away, but instead I spent half of my Sunday responding to nearly everyone who replied for the explicit purpose of eliminating confusion.
A proper community note would have mentioned the facts about F9, and followed that up with a clarification about what I was actually trying to say...but instead purposefully phrased it in a manner that is an attack on my character and credibility.
The idea that a SpaceX/Starship content creator would be stupid enough to intentionally ignore the existence of F9 is absolutely ridiculous.
In some ways, you could consider this to be countering perceived misinformation with willful misinterpretation. I think many would argue this community note is a form of disinformation in itself.
So to those of you who have submitted ratings or suggestions to improve the note, I appreciate you for being a real one.
BUT, As someone who has NEVER posted for the purpose of engagement farming (which is why you will rarely, if ever see me tag certain high profile accounts in hopes of receiving a boost), what ever effect this has on monetization does not bother me in the slightest. I'm simply not here for those reasons as many have suggested.
A majority of my posts can be grouped into four categories
1. Informing my followers of Starbase related events that I find interesting, with occasional mentions of other space related content
2. Providing updates on investigations we are working on, and directly interacting with MY audience outside of YT
3. Posting episode announcements for the purpose of driving traffic to those videos.
4. Occasional venting about world events that I feel should not be ignored.
With that said, going forward I will take more care to make sure I phrase things in a way that leaves no room for ambiguous interpretation. ✌🏾

Now that we have a more complete view, we wanted to provide an update on our NG-3 mission. While we are pleased with the nominal booster recovery, we clearly didn't deliver the mission our customer wanted, and our team expects. Early data suggest that on our second GS2 burn, one of the BE-3U engines didn’t produce sufficient thrust to reach our target orbit. Blue Origin is leading the anomaly investigation with FAA oversight to learn from the data and implement the improvements needed to quickly return to flight operations. We have been in steady communication with the team at AST SpaceMobile, we appreciate their partnership, and we’re looking forward to many flights together.

Come on Zack, this is not a flex lol.
We understand you were referencing New Glenn Booster vs Superheavy Booster and not Falcon 9; however, context matters here.
BO has landed the same New Glenn rocket twice; however, they never reused any of the engines. At that point, can you even consider it fully reused?
SpaceX has caught 3 boosters: B12, B14, and B15.
They then reused engines on both B14 and B15, something NG has not done yet.
As you know, SpaceX V3 Ship and Booster are significant upgrades that will increase reliability and performance, and the new Pad, GSE, and OLM will increase launch cadence.
Apples to oranges.

Voyager 1 has shut off another scientific instrument to keep power margins available. The Low Energy Charged Particle detector was observing ions, now the only powered instruments are the plasma wave and magnetic field instruments.
