They have spent more time apart then they have together and it's never mentioned that much. Franky meeting Dr Vegapunk should have been a huge moment for example and nothing comes of it. Same with Zoro in Wano.

@JustRemka @misterlit2727 Static for 25+ years my dude. Whole Cake did have a bit of that but it was nowhere near the level of them fighting over the Going Merry and Robin's attempted sacrifice. I would say Luffy is just far too simple a character to ask for any real drama but Oda has done it before
