@FlameKaizerX Jesus Christ, animation is not graphics cards. It doesn't inherently get better over time. Objectively the most consistently good animation in anime was in the 80s OVA era when they had infinite money and resources to throw at anything they wanted to make.

Actually, it's absolutely insane how good the animation and art are for such an old anime.

This is such a frustrating post because SamCham actually is pretty impressive for 2004, with how well it employs digital colouring, compositing and effects. But most of the actual art and layout techniques behind the animation itself were refined back in the 80s.

Israel has been forced to fight this fight in their own back yard year after year. The modern world/free world/Western world owes Israel a great debt of gratitude for fighting this fight.
