Tesla fans using the “4-second disengagement” as a gotcha are missing the forest for the trees. Yes, the driver was technically in control of the vehicle at the moment of impact. But she was in control because FSD was already failing by driving too fast ahead of this sharp turn — it was heading straight into a concrete barrier at highway speed with no sign of correcting. Everyone who has frequently used FSD or Autopilot and paints this 4-second disengagement as a “gotcha” moment is being disengenous, and that includes Elon Musk. I have tens of thousands of miles on FSD, and I’ve experienced the system coming too fast into a turn at least half a dozen times. We’ve said this before and we’ll keep saying it: the problem with FSD isn’t what happens when the driver is paying attention and the system works. The problem is what happens when the system gives you every reason to trust it, and then suddenly doesn’t work. The driver has to recognize the failure, assess the situation, decide on a correction, and physically execute it, all in less time than the system needs to create the danger. Musk and Tesla’s propagandists can point to the logs all they want. The video shows what actually matters: FSD approaching a standard highway curve at full speed with zero indication it was going to navigate it. That’s the failure. Everything that happened after, including the panicked disengagement, is a consequence of that failure. The framing that this was “manual driving, not FSD” is technically true for the final 4 seconds and deeply dishonest about the full sequence of events. It’s exactly the kind of liability shell game that courts are increasingly rejecting, as that $243 million verdict makes clear. Tesla created the system, sold it as “Full Self-Driving,” and profits from the ambiguity. At some point, it has to own the consequences.

Can we all agree that illegal immigrants should use the CBP Home app and self deport? They get a free flight and $2,000 and the ability to come back legally in the future. They’re the reason ICE is traveling the country forcing them to go home and causing all of this chaos. Go home and apply for citizenship the right way. We love immigrants but we don’t love cheaters that jump the line.

@TomWeilerMN @SenAmyKlobuchar @MeetThePress He didn't have a gun when he was shot multiple times. They aren't lying. How do we know he even had a gun? Is it in any of the videos that can be proven it was his?

Amy @SenAmyKlobuchar , completely unbecoming as a "leader" and a Senator for you to lie to Minnesotans and the entire nation twice on @MeetThePress insinuating that Alex Pretti only had a phone. In addition to a phone, Alex had a gun. Alex simply having a gun of course does not mean he deserved to die yesterday. His death is a complete and preventable tragedy. The FACT he had a gun is not a narrative, its called a fact, and tragically the gun contributed to serious of events in a volatile atmosphere that led to his tragic death. Your lies continue to enflame the situation and put Minnesotans in more danger.

I deleted my earlier post as I didn’t have the facts and I really still don’t but the evidence is now pointing toward the fact that he was shot AFTER being disarmed. Literally fighting law enforcement the way that he did and purposely interfering in a government operation is definitely not smart but people are becoming radicalized by the inflammatory posts by the democrat politicians and left wing news and feel they need to “do something” when what they really should do is stay home.

🚨🇺🇸 The guy who was shot by federal agents in Minneapolis has been identified. His name was Alex Jeffrey Pretti, 37, from south Minneapolis. From what’s out there so far, he was a U.S. citizen, legally owned a gun, and crossed paths with ICE during an operation. Agents say he approached them armed and wouldn’t comply. Before anyone even knew his name, the streets were already on fire, narratives locked in, and everyone yelling past each other. Now the details start trickling out and, surprise, it’s messier than the first wave of posts made it seem. This is one of those moments where slowing down for 5 minutes would save everyone from looking stupid later. Source: @AZ_Intel_

A new home security video angle shows Renee Nicole Good did NOT attempt to run down the ICE agent who killed her. She was trying to leave, and the agent was NOT struck. The Trump regime’s claim that this was “domestic terrorism” is a disgusting lie. Justice for Renee Nicole Good

I am aware of a shooting involving an ICE agent at 34th Street & Portland. The presence of federal immigration enforcement agents is causing chaos in our city. We’re demanding ICE to leave the city immediately. We stand rock solid with our immigrant and refugee communities.

@mgirard @brandenflasch Auto steer was stated as coming at a later date on foundation trucks. It was even on the screen in the car. It has since been removed from those trucks.

@brandenflasch I think so? The Cybertruck owners manual lists Autopilot features as AutoPark, Traffic Light and Stop Sign control, and FSD. Autosteer (what we think of as Base Autopilot) is not mentioned. tesla.com/ownersmanual/c…

Didn't early non-Foundation Cybertrucks get a year FSD trial? Has that expired? Do they just have Cybertrucks without lane centering now?
Michael Girard@mgirard

@brandenflasch Didn’t Tesla say they abandoned that effort, and were only going to ship FSD going forward on the Cybertruck? Not shipping it on 3/Y Standard is an outright miss for the product.

@brandenflasch They were still selling foundation only I think 1 year ago... I want to know the plan as well, no lane centering on a Tesla would be hilarious.
