Musk must have realized that if Twitter deboosted certain Third World regions, a lot of the red meat pro-MAGA and far-right propaganda that he enjoys (like that from Ian Miles Cheong and Inevitable West) would get less circulation.

It's a stupid idea. Americans only know about race laws and persecution in South Africa because South African accounts gathered big American followings. @AP You have to show your ID to get a mail-in in Florida. He’d be fine with that for people who travel regularly like him. Mail in with no ID or even a hard deadline is what he wants to get rid of. It’s the common sense thing to do.
