Very unpopular also inside the LTNs on both side of Wandsworth Bridge Road. It is because of the huge number of SUVs that line the camera streets blocking the roads that we had to have the LTNs in the first place.

Calling all Wandsworth Bridge Road residents. 1400 residents live on your road versus 900 residents on industrial sized traffic free Townmead/ Imperial Roads. Why is your quality of life worth less. Ask prospective councillors when they come knocking on your door for your vote

This is why protected cycle lanes matter. One lane can move up to 7× more bikes than cars per hour. Bikes take a fraction of the road space, freeing up the rest of the road. Private car drivers, you’re welcome 😉 🚲

This is gold dust! It reveals LTNs in Lambeth, the London borough that is covered with them, don't even work in their own terms and that neighbouring Wandsworth, which removed its 7 Covid LTNs, has less congestion, emissions & road casualties. youtube.com/watch?v=kjRBMM…

Every new scheme will raise loads of cash from inattentive drivers.
Many drivers need to pay between £60 and £130 before they change their habits and driving routes.
It’s a small price for them to pay and maybe they will learn to read road signs and pay attention too 👍

This is very good news indeed. Tower Hamlets are going to the Supreme Court to seek to get the verdict overturned that it was illegal to remove its LTNs.

More adventures with the parklets on Wandsworth Bridge Road. The one on the left hit and totally destroyed a couple of days ago ( now removed) and last night on the opposite side of the road another crash bang wallop. Petition at 5100 c.org/6RNRwH8dvH
