@ATXPOA @MayorAdler @ATXCouncil This is an important issue. I have questions. This Spring APD was short 190 officers or about 10.5% of the budgeted sworn officers. Nationally, police departments were short about 7% and 86% of all depts reported a shortage. Is the national shortage also council's fault?

@MayorAdler & @ATXCouncil created the staffing crisis as part of their failed defunding/reimagining social experiment. We advised them canceling cadet classes would impact staffing, response times, investigations & police services for many years to come. It fell on deaf ears.
