@FTFonFS1 @GregJennings Take draft capital if it changes your future. Mendoza doesn’t have the arm to be special. He’s a very good college QB and won a Heisman in a bad year. He’s going to be ok, not a must-have, no questions asked #1 pick in the draft. Pretty sure next year has better players.

Should the Raiders consider trading #1 pick? @GregJennings answers: “I think you have to listen, but absolutely not trade. Take your pick…You’re going to go get Mendoza.”

@A_Jude @dawg206 Great guy, going to enjoy a long life with his family in rural somewhere. I’d have been surprised to see him play 10 years with the way he approached life and football (as a means to an end, to support his family and change their fortunes forever). Enjoy your retirement, Kaleb!

Last Monday I went to the ER after experiencing tightness in my chest, shortness of breath, and coldness in my extremities. Diagnosis: Heart attack & 80-90% blockage in my LAD artery (aka "the Widowmaker"). Stent placed during an angioplasty on Wednesday. At 38 years old.

@SuperrNova38 @bowdown79 Tampa would be a good landing spot for him now with Evans moving on. Two solid young guys and he wouldn’t have crazy pressure to a volume guy day one.

Ton of discourse around Denzel Boston and I’m not sure I’m seeing what detractors are seeing. Big body. Elite catch radius. Strong hands. The guy wins contested catches and does it consistently. What separates him from your typical big X receiver is the route running. He moves fluid for his size and shows real refinement in his releases and stems. That’s not common at that size. The NFL is going to love this kid. I’m a big fan and I think his landing spot is going to matter a lot for how we value him in fantasy.

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson has made big announcements in her first 2 months. But several events ended without taking questions from reporters. Is this a pattern? @KIROCharlie breaks it down in today's commentary.

@justmeLaura_T @PolitiBunny maybe Mr Brown saw something in him and tried to pull it out of him, which was ineffective in the short-term, but probably helped him long-term. he appreciated Miss Nichole after Mr Brown. he also got reps in front of a class that helped prepare him for what was to come.

In fourth grade my oldest’s teacher during a parent teacher conference said his attitude was going to lead no where good in life, he will likely become a delinquent. His attitude was he was incredibly shy and the teacher tried to push him out of it, bullying him, calling on him first all the time and creating more assignments where you have to talk in front of the class. This teacher humiliated him every chance he got. It was a horrible year. Then we moved to another town and he was put in a 5/6 combined class with a brand new teacher, fresh out of college and on fire to make a difference in kids lives. She focused on the abilities of her students and encouraged them. He had her again in 6th grade. He blossomed. Fast forward to senior year in high school, he was an intern for one of the nationally acclaimed morning shows in the US, while going to HS. At the graduating parent’s tea, he did a stand up comedy bit that brought down the house. At graduation he received a standing ovation from his class as he was the most popular kid in school, funny, caring and generous. He is an amazing husband, father and human being, incredibly successful and outgoing. Some, and I do mean some, of the educators in this country are more concerned about stats, compliance to THEIR ideology and have no room for teaching kids for success. Mr Brown, wherever you are, I hope you got out of teaching before trying to predestine other kids for juvenile delinquency. Miss Nichole, who left teaching a few years later, went into prison ministry to teach in prisons where I am sure she helped some inmates to a better path in our society.

I wouldn't doubt that this is happening ... not even a little bit. Long ago, when our oldest was on an IEP, every time I would go into those meetings, it was obvious I was the opposition. And they'd go into a long list of everything our daughter wasn't doing right. At first, I just sat and listened (and would then sit in my car crying), but after so many meetings where I was told how much of a failure my daughter was (in much kinder terms, of course), I finally lost my patience and asked them what she was doing WELL. You'd have thought I'd asked them to solve some crazy math problem. It never occurred to them to make note of what she was accomplishing, how she was growing, and where she was shining. Months later, I had to travel for work, and while I was gone, our daughter missed me and was upset ... like any child would be if their mom was out of town. In their actual paperwork, in the IEP itself, they wrote that my leaving her for TWO DAYS had caused a setback in her progress. They put that in the documentation. Not even kidding. I pulled her off her IEP when I got back ... And yes, this is the same daughter who is now in college and graduating a year early with two degrees. Sorry, this ended up being much longer than I originally planned, but the way these so-called experts treat parents who are LITERALLY THE EXPERTS when it comes to our children just infuriates me. Moms and dads, you know your children best. Do not let them bully or boss you around. You are your child's best advocate in every situation. You are the experts.

If the GOP will not pass an insanely popular voter ID law that purely benefits them politically and has no downside then I think it's time to stop pretending the uniparty isn't a thing

@AdamSchefter @CAA_Football Absolutely ridiculous for a guy with only 2 complete seasons and 3 career interceptions in 4 years. Rams just screwed the rest of the NFL when it comes to paying CB's with how they just overpaid an average CB.

ESPN sources: Rams and Trent McDuffie reached agreement today on a record four-year, $124 million extension that includes $100 million guaranteed and makes him the highest-paid cornerback in NFL history. McDuffie gets a trade and a new deal days apart as the Rams and CAA Football finalize the agreement.
