White Crime Is Vastly Overestimated
And the People Citing the Data Know It

You ever notice how many times you see a black person or a Hispanic person in a mugshot labeled as WHITE? Well, there is a reason for it. Let me explain the rigged system to you.
Every time crime statistics are debated, the same claims get rolled out with smug certainty: white people commit most crime, immigrant crime is lower per capita, white crime rates exceed black crime rates in many categories. Liberals love to toss that shit around. They treat the claims as settled science. They are not. They are bullshit lies of a data system so structurally flawed that repeating its outputs as truth is either ignorant or dishonest. In the case of most liberals, both.
The problem isn’t crime. The problem is classification.
The U.S. government does not treat Hispanic or Latino as a race. It treats it as an ethnicity. That single bureaucratic decision has poisoned decades of crime statistics. Because race is still mandatory, and because systems require a box to be checked, between 70 and 90 percent of Hispanic arrestees are classified as “White” by race in federal, state, and local data systems. That includes undocumented immigrants, recent migrants, and non-European populations that no serious person would describe as “white” in any meaningful sense. BLACK IMMIGRANTS ARE CLASSIFIED AS WHITE ALSO. Sometimes, the system just classifies everyone as white.
Those arrests don’t show up as Hispanic crime. They don’t show up as immigrant crime. They don't show up in black crime, they show as WHITE CRIME,
When analysts then publish race-only tables—which is what the public overwhelmingly sees—those Hispanic arrests are indistinguishable from non-Hispanic white arrests. The result is predictable: white crime numbers balloon, immigrant crime disappears into native-born categories, and commentators triumphantly announce conclusions that the data simply cannot support.
This isn’t a minor distortion. In jurisdictions with large Hispanic populations, a massive share of reported “white” arrests are not non-Hispanic whites at all. In immigration enforcement, drug cases, and border-state data, white crime figures are often padded by tens of percent. In some federal datasets, Hispanic arrests constitute the majority of what is labeled “white.”
And it gets worse.
Race in arrest data is often not self-reported. It is assigned by officers, under time pressure, often across language barriers, and frequently completed by legacy software systems that default missing or ambiguous entries to “White.” Add in Afro-Latino populations, Black Caribbean immigrants, and African migrants—many of whom are logged as Hispanic or “other” in ethnicity—and you end up with Black immigrant arrests being quietly absorbed into white totals as well.
So when someone confidently says “white crime is higher than black crime” or “immigrants commit less crime per capita,” ask the only question that matters: counted how?
If Hispanic immigrants are folded into the white category—and they are—then immigrant crime is being hidden and white crime is being inflated. That is not a debatable point. It is arithmetic. You cannot claim immigrant crime is lower while simultaneously acknowledging that immigrant arrests are misclassified into native-born racial groups. Both claims cannot be true at the same time.
Yet people repeat them anyway.
The argument that “immigrant crime is lower per capita” often relies on datasets that do not track immigration status at all. Immigration enforcement is handled separately. ICE arrests are excluded from FBI crime summaries. Ethnicity is dropped from public tables. The conclusion is then paraded as proof of moral or political superiority, when in reality it is proof of data blindness. Believe me, this has been done on purpose, I will explain that later.
Likewise, the claim that white crime exceeds black crime depends entirely on a definition of “white” that includes millions of people who are not white in any cultural, ancestral, or social sense. Strip out Hispanic misclassification. Remove Black immigrant contamination. Isolate non-Hispanic whites. The picture changes immediately and dramatically. 6Perhaps as much as 60 percent of WHITE CRIME is not WHITE people at all.
This is not about denying crime. It is about refusing to accept corrupted statistics as reality.
The people pushing these numbers know the caveats. They know ethnicity is excluded. They know race defaults exist. They know Hispanic classification distorts totals. And they also know that correcting the data would collapse the neat narratives built on top of it.
So the public gets race-only charts. Footnotes get buried. Context disappears. And white Americans are told—on the basis of mangled accounting—that they are responsible for far more crime than they actually are.
If crime statistics were reconstructed honestly—by separating ethnicity, identifying nativity, and correcting officer-assigned race—one conclusion would be unavoidable: non-Hispanic white crime is vastly lower than what is reported, and many of the loudest claims in this debate are built on statistical bullshit.
This isn’t controversial. It’s inconvenient. You see, the law that caused this misapplication was brought about in 1977, do you know why? Black and Hispanic Crime was skyrocketing; it dwarfed white crime in every conceivable category. This was causing racial tensions. Jimmy Carter and his administration decided to change how statistics were tracked. You see, democrats enjoyed a huge voting advantage with races that simply committing most of the crime. Democrats had to get TOUGH ON CRIME because crime was out of control in the 70's. To accomplish this, they skewed the reporting so when statistics came out, they could argue whites were just as criminal as non-whites.
And until people are willing to confront how the numbers are made, not just what they appear to say, every argument that leans on “white crime,” “immigrant crime,” or “per capita comparisons” deserves to be laughed at, not applauded.
