WSJ: Tesla Finally Has Its First Semi-Truck and It’s Already a Hit With Truckers. "Truckers who drove it in pilot tests say they loved features including a centered driving position, faster charging and longer range for about $100,000 less than other battery-electric trucks. Angel Rodriguez, a 56-year-old truck driver for Hight Logistics in Long Beach, Calif., recently swapped out a 13-gear diesel truck for a Tesla Semi, which is automatic, for a one-month pilot test. “It’s just easier on your body. It’s less stressful because you’re not really having to engage the clutch and the stick shift.” Big F Transport employs five mechanics to service more than 40 diesel-powered rigs and a fleet of trailer chassis in Wilmington, Calif. “If we go all EV we will only need one [mechanic] to service chassis,” said Geovanny Melendez, the carrier’s VP of operations, who went to see the Semi earlier this month at a ride-and-drive event near the Port of Long Beach. Jennie Abarca, co-founder and CEO of King Fio Trucking in Long Beach, Calif., once worked as a truck dispatcher and her husband is a truck driver, so she knows all too well the toll a diesel engine takes on people’s lungs and hearing. She eventually wants to swap out King Fio’s 27 diesel trucks to create an all-electric fleet. King Fio already has 11 battery-electric trucks from Volvo and Nikola. But the company limits those trucks to shorter trips to and from local ports because they only have a range of about 225 miles. The Semi, by contrast, can travel 500 miles on a single charge, according to Tesla. For King Fio that means two or three round-trips a day from Long Beach to warehouses in the nearby Inland Empire or a single round-trip to Las Vegas. She has 20 Semis on order. “The Teslas change everything,” Abarca said. “It opens up a whole different type of delivery that I can make.” H/t: @SawyerMerritt

Individualism (Freedom) >> Collectivism (Tyranny) Collectivism prioritizes the group over the individual, often leading to the suppression of personal freedoms and innovation in pursuit of enforced equality. A stark concrete example is the Soviet Union's forced collectivization of agriculture in the 1930s, where private farms were seized and merged into state-run collectives. This resulted in widespread famine, such as the Holodomor in Ukraine, killing millions due to inefficiency, mismanagement, and the elimination of individual incentives. Farmers, stripped of ownership, had no motivation to produce beyond quotas, leading to shortages and economic stagnation. Similarly, in Maoist China during the Great Leap Forward, communal farming and industrial collectives caused catastrophic failures, with tens of millions starving as centralized planning ignored local knowledge and human initiative, demonstrating how collectivism can turn abundance into despair through coercive control. Beyond historical failures, collectivism erodes individual rights by vesting power in the state or elite groups, fostering corruption and authoritarianism. In modern Venezuela, the push for collective ownership of industries like oil led to nationalization under socialist policies, initially promising shared wealth but ultimately causing hyperinflation, shortages of basic goods, and mass emigration. When the state controls resources and decisions, it often benefits a ruling class while the masses suffer from inefficiency and lack of accountability—private enterprises are demonized, competition is stifled, and innovation grinds to a halt. This creates a dependency cycle where citizens rely on government handouts, losing the drive for self-improvement and turning society into a homogenized mass devoid of diverse thought or progress. In a hypothetical future where collectivism dominates globally, imagine a world where AI-driven central planning assigns jobs, rations resources, and monitors thoughts for "collective harmony," leading to a dystopian stagnation. Individuals with breakthrough ideas, like a lone inventor developing sustainable energy, would be forced to surrender patents to the state, diluting rewards and discouraging risk-taking—resulting in technological plateaus and environmental crises unresolved by bureaucratic inertia. Personal relationships could be regulated for "social equity," with families fragmented by mandatory relocations or diversity quotas, breeding resentment and underground rebellions. Ultimately, this enforced unity would fracture into chaos, as human nature's inherent desire for autonomy clashes with the system's rigidity, collapsing into widespread poverty and loss of human potential.

@Tesla @elonmusk Tesla + xAI Grok + SpaceX + Digital Optimus will be a force to reckon with in the future
🌋🌋 Deep₿lueCrypto 🌋🌋@DeepBlueCrypto

Elon Musk just revealed the architecture for what could become the largest workforce on Earth. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 MACROHARD 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 A joint venture between Tesla and xAI, built under a $2 billion framework agreement signed earlier this year. The goal is not to build better software tools but to replace entire companies whose output is digital. Musk compared the system to the human brain. Digital Optimus handles the instincts, processing live screen video, keyboard strokes, and mouse clicks in real time. While, Grok handles the thinking, reasoning, planning, and directing every action. One layer reacts and the other decides. Together they operate a computer the way a human would. But here is where it gets wild. This does not run on expensive Nvidia hardware in some data center but runs on Tesla's AI4 chip. A piece of silicon that costs $650 and already sits inside millions of Tesla vehicles across the country. When those cars are parked, they become compute nodes. One gigawatt of distributed processing power and a shadow supercomputer hiding in driveways and parking garages across America. xAI has already been testing this internally. They built AI agents and listed them on the company org chart as real employees. Coworkers sent them messages, scheduled meetings and walked over to their desks and found empty chairs. Some people inside xAI did not even realize they were working alongside machines. Musk says by the end of this year, digital human emulation will be solved. That means an AI that can do anything a human with a computer screen can do. The name Macrohard is a joke aimed at Microsoft but the ambition behind it is dead serious. If every company whose product is information can be emulated by AI agents running on $650 chips in parked Teslas, the entire structure of white-collar industry is sitting on a fault line. No other company has this combination. Billions of miles of real-world driving data, frontier AI model and millions of edge compute devices already deployed and waiting for instructions.
