First thing tomorrow morning I have to bring the old Model 3 into Tesla for service which is about 70 miles away. Given the cold temps and the severe degradation I’m starting to doubt this car will make it there on a full charge… thankfully there is a supercharger along the way.

This would be a great car if it only charged slower. It’s just way too fast of charging for my liking. I normally like to plug in and eat a 17 course meal before getting back on the road.

@brandenflasch In this car, 92% is the new 100% SOC lol. Outside of the battery, i am very happy how it drives. Rock solid car.

Plugged in at Tesla Winnipeg for service. Made it with 15% SOC remaining.

@515050M Cars got 610,000 kms (378,500 miles) and only has 67% battery health estimated remaining. Plus it’s freezing temps outside.

Update on High Mileage Model 3 - It’s going in for service to fix a number of things this week. Can’t wait to get the car back to do the proper battery health test and see exactly where this car is at after 610,000km (378,500miles)

@oi8achevy The battery gets drained to 0% and then fully charged up to 100% and they measure how much capacity is left in the battery vs when it was brand new.
