@kaffjamesnewtow In steam methane reforming half the hydrogen comes from the methane. Electrolysis is roughly twice as water intensive. (Have to factor in water treatment, process water, etc)

People shouldn’t complain about the amount of water that hydrogen electrolysis uses because it’s less than steam methane reforming, and it doesn’t contaminate the water.
