Native American reservations operate in much the same way, with clearly defined borders. Once those borders exist, jurisdiction changes. Are reservations racist? In effect, a Native person can be permanently removed from the reservation even if they own land on it. How many immigrants have reservations taken in—providing land, housing, employment, healthcare, food, or schooling? The answer appears to be none.
