Performance update 🎄 Last playtest performance was acceptable for most players. Current focus: improve raw frame time (“true frame”) and significantly reduce VRAM usage, especially for configs below 8 GB VRAM. UE 5.6.1 → UE 5.7.1 Changes: • Nanite Voxel Foliage enabled (Epic / CDPR tech) → Massive Nanite overdraw reduction → Prepares animated trees & fully 3D vegetation (leaves included) • FSR / DLSS / XeSS updated (native mode in captures) • Grass spawning moved from CPU → GPU using PCG Graphs → Denser vegetation, more variation → ~0.5 ms CPU saved • Upcoming options to reduce VRAM usage and disable costly features (RT reflections, VRAM pool control) Result: • Much lower CPU usage • Frame time now mostly GPU • Better scaling for low-end GPUs via upscalers • Reduced input latency on mid/high-end PCs Performance: +7–10 FPS (editor) ~+15 FPS (shipping build) RTX 4090 • Ultra • RT 1440p: 80+ FPS 1080p: ~110 FPS (150–160 FPS on lower settings)

@ArtOfPilgrim "ai games are going to be amazing" you would need a gpu that cost one gazillion dollars for ai to render this in real time. In playable framerates. also the fact that this isn't even real game play is so funny to me 😭.

Made some improvements to my old ammo feed mechanism!😄 It's now more flexible, easier to setup, and more optimised :) Still a few things to iron out, but i'm happy with the direction! #blender #rigging #rig
