@Molson_Hart Since 1980 productivity has increased faster than wages. This pushes money to the top as asset bubbles in things the middle & working class need: housing, healthcare, & education. It's the reason a single breadwinner can't own a house & send his kids to college like in the 70s.

You know why those immigrants work so hard? It’s not just because of their character. It’s because of incentives. They can send their dollars home and afford housing, provide for their families back home. They’re fine with renting in the U.S. They can retire in their home country with its free medical care. For Americans, there is nowhere they can send the money, where they can afford a house. So of course they’re less motivated. System is broken from top to bottom. People want to make it about one issue, but it’s much more complex than h1b, yes or no.

I’ll tell you what - a lot of the success I’ve achieved in life is due to the lessons I learned playing sports. Was I a college athlete?
