Most of the Mainers I've spoken to dismiss the tattoo. They don't think Platner is a Nazi.
That said, Susan Collins is the Chair of the Appropriations Committee and I've heard Mainers say they're worried the money will dry up if they vote in a freshman senator.
Collins was polling behind by 5 points on election day 2020. She won by 9 points.

@Alicia_Smith19 Silly. My metrics have been nearly perfect for three presidential cycles, literally perfect in 2024 (312 EVs and 1.5% pop win) and 2015 (off by 4 EVs).
ALL those metrics now have JDVance at 320-340 EVs (depending on how horrible the D candidate is) and +2.5 pop vote margin.

I'll say this much, if Republicans nominate Rubio, Democrats have to think long and hard about who they run. A lot of the anti-Trump previously Republican-leaning suburban vote could snap right back to Rubio under the wrong circumstances.

Jake Auchincloss is essentially endorsing Susan Collins in Maine. Absolutely no excuse for a Democrat in the House to back a Republican for Senate in a crucial swing seat.
Auchincloss should be primaried. His primary election is September 1 in a safe, D+11 seat.
