Ridiculous. You can learn from your own limited experience or from the vast experience of others by reading books. As Charlie Munger said: "You don't have to pee on an electric fence to know it's a bad idea." You can learn from experience of others. Read (like most successful investors and others do).

Books on human psychology and madness of crowds definitely works on investing. Not sure what kinda of advice is this…. Those who read books should practically apply it.

you can use any MF tool to see high performers by category - International and sort it by performance descending. This one has been on top for quite some time. Example link: valueresearchonline.com/funds/selector… This fund is an outlier. Next best is at 100% - that too because its a gold fund :D

There is a Mutual fund which has given 280% returns in last one year, but you can't invest in it anymore from this week, thanks to SEBI 😡

300 freshers laid off by Zoho. No notice. No explanation. They turned down TCS, Cognizant & Capgemini for this. One full-time employee asked "are you replacing us with trainees?" and shortly after: 300 young careers were paused. These weren't job hoppers. They were kids from small towns whose families were depending on that paycheck. Freshers don't come to replace you. They come to learn from you. The real question is: who's protecting entry-level talent in Indian tech?

Sent in my resignation to the IAP membership as it's becoming too suffocating to stay there, with the leadership worrying more about the funds from Kenvue than the safety of children. Giving a position statement on ORS and electrolyte drinks after the notice was sent to me. Emphasizing on Sucralose (clearly showing conflict of interest) that it's safe, without even warning the parents about the potential dangers with long term usage...... disturbance of gut microbiome, diabetes, and related complications like heart attack. What is the need to even talk about Sucralose in a position statement on ORS and electrolyte drinks. So much ambiguity in the statement.
