Disagree with the “cool people” thing but I get it. Since 2, the art direction has been pretty samey (not in a bad way) but 1, OG X, and 2 all looked incredibly distinct. XC3, XDE and Genesis kinda just look like any other fantasy anime game coming out currently

I would rather have 3 RPG’s that are the size of rebirth that take the cumulative amount of storage rebirth takes (this a comparison and not hate on rebirth)

Nintendo are no longer good at compressing games. Everything about the switch 2 generation just gets worse and worse. Creative bankruptcy and like that jelloapocalypse guy said they don't know how to re create the magic

@superyggdrasilV I disagree, Monolithsoft have a very specific shading style when it comes to the characters that sets them apart from everyone else, and even there level of fidelity is something a lot of anime style games can’t reach

Out of everything being added to the Xenoblade Switch 2 Edition's I think I'm most excited for the new top down roguelike(???) mode being added to Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Xenoblade fans not complain about Xenoblade challenge: Impossible Xenoblade 1 was fantasy until the reveal of the Space Station Xenoblade 2 was VERY fantasy until the reveal of Mecha and the World Tree’s true nature Xenoblade 3 is the only one where it immediately fuses the two. The only difference is approach. This time they’re aiming for a medieval style. That’s it. Swords, bows, staffs, etc. with knights and wyverns. But I am 100% certain it will have the series’ staple sci-fi twist. That’s what makes it Xenoblade. Let Monolithsoft COOK and quit complaining when they stray even A LITTLE from the same formula they’ve been using. Let them have fun.

@DefinitelyFort Not really sci-fi until the end of the game tho, like all you know at the beginning of the game is the titans were created by ether but its not until the end of the game where the sci-fi twist happens

@LinkTheGamer_ @gabrieldehyrule One thing is generic fantasy and another original fantasy even if xeno1 is more sci-fi, if we talk only about fantasy the new one is too generic in characters and backgrounds
