CPCR researchers and collaborators analyzed the largest dataset of its kind, featuring 20+ years of psilocybin trials from Johns Hopkins. In clinical settings, facilitators can meaningfully shape patients’ experiences, which may carry into therapeutic effects.

@ExistWell Your book took me right back to my early teens, when I was reading Chalmers' "The Conscious Mind" and Norletlanders' "The User Illusion".
I think the second part is really interesting IMO, and the translation is beautiful.

【論文を発表しました】
クレッチマーの「体型と性格」ってご存じですか？
「やせている人は○○な気質」とかいうアレです。このような、体型のメンタルへの“効果”をうたう考え方について、私たちはそれが「原理的に成立しえない」ことを、クレッチマーから約100年後にあたる論文で示しました。つまり、「やせている人は○○な気質」といった表現自体が、科学的に誤りだということです。篠崎先生との共著です。@she_knows_a_key
私が学生のころはまだ教科書に載っていましたが、今も載っているのでしょうか。もし残っているようでしたら、出版社の皆さまにおかれましては、「この学説は、およそ100年後に日本人研究者によって原理的に否定された」と追記していただけますと幸いです。こんなもん偏見を助長するだけですしね。

買いました📖読み始めたばかりだけど、すでにおもしろい。 日本でサイケデリクス研究に関わる人や興味がある人には必読の1冊ですね。 色々な分野の人がこの本を読むだろうし、結果その方々がサイケデリクスを知るきっかけになる点でも素晴らしい。

@ExistWell Technically, there are two or three people involved, but right now I'm the only one working on the scale translation, while the others are conducting Phase 1 clinical trials.

Your papers are very fascinating. Especially 'The subjective effects of psychedelics are necessary for their enduring therapeutic effects' is insightful. Btw, I'm hoping to use the Awe Scale and translate the Psychedelic Integration Scale in my next project.
