Okay guys I have something to announce. Crimson Desert is in my TOP 10 games of all time, I don’t care. Every single time I play the game it just gives me that freedom and sense of discovery I haven’t felt since I was a child. I remember playing games on the GameCube or PS2 and discovering everything about the game no matter what, finding little secrets whilst not having access to YouTube tutorials or guides which is a lot less prevalent in most games today. That wall doesn’t look like its meant to be there it’s probably not, that building looks cool turns out there’s a massive enemy camp underneath it, lantern is glowing and then you discover a story from past memories that ties in with the environment. I wish more games done random stuff like this without having 1000+ markers on the map. Let us feel that satisfaction of discovering something that most players wouldn’t even know about and that’s exactly what Crimson Desert does. I understand it’s not everyone type of game but it’s so special to me.

Crimson Desert has shared a development update, they are working on the following HUGE features: - Difficulty options (Easy/Medium/Hard) - Improved distant scenery, so things far away appear more natural - Boss Re-runs - Reset enemy forts/camps for endgame - New skills to allow Oongka/Damiane to use Axiom Force and Force Palm, making them more playable. - Hide back weapons and shield - New outfits including making some of the currently unuseable ones useable - Specialized Storages: Wardrobe, Food, Gatherables and Collections - You can use things in food storage right away in cooking without taking them out - New pets and mounts - UI improvements including font sizes, improvements to inventory, map and more - Updates to controls such as more customization for inputs An MMO developer updating a singleplayer game at that MMO speed is basically unheard of, Crimson Desert is very quickly listening to feedback and becoming a better game every week.
