I’ve chosen to be non-denominational; and here’s why: • I don’t want my faith governed by a building or an institution, whether that’s Catholic Church or any Protestant denomination. My relationship with God isn’t meant to be filtered through a system, it’s meant to be personal. • For me, Jesus Christ, the Bible, and the Church (the people, not the building) are enough. Scripture shows that the Church is the body of believers, not a physical structure or hierarchy. Faith is lived out daily, not just attended weekly. • I’ve seen how the Word can be influenced by groups who believe their interpretation is the “right” one. Whether it’s traditions, doctrines, or denominational differences, it’s easy for human perspectives to shape what should be centered purely on Scripture. • That’s why I choose to go straight to the source; to read, study, and understand the Bible for myself, while staying grounded in prayer and truth. • The church I attend reflects this. It doesn’t try to control belief; it helps believers grow. It creates an environment where people are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ, not just follow a system. We’re called to: Speak His name. Spread His Word. Gather His disciples. Grow His kingdom. Glorify Him. That’s the mission. That’s the focus. • This doesn’t mean I reject other Christians; it means I’m focused on a direct relationship with God over religious labels. At the end of the day, it’s not about what group you belong to, it’s about whether you truly know Him and live it out.

Believers only: What do you love most about being a Christian?

I do not believe God authorizes or approves of evil, ever. He hates sin, violence, and abuse. What the Bible teaches is that human free will and sin exist, and God permits choices and consequences in the world, even when they are evil, while still being fully sovereign. And it by no means that He causes or desires the evil. It means He can use all events, even sinful ones, within His ultimate plan for good, justice, and eventual judgment. So yes, He allows people to act freely, but He does not authorize them to sin. The distinction is between permitting and approving. Read your Bible.

I think this is an excellent idea. This allows parents to see what is being done in the classroom and it allows teachers to show parents when their children are unruly. Thoughts?

That’s fact. Welcome to the reality of the Bible. God gave us free will. We can freely act as we choose. He decides who to save and who not to. Who to put into power who not to. No one knows why he makes the choices he does. But, he is the law. Children are sacred to him. And will always be the first into heaven. Death was given to us as a curse because of Adam and Eve. And death will end our suffering if we believe and follow Jesus. At the end of the day, this life is temporal and we will all be judged for our choices. None will be above his laws and Jesus will banish those to hell who are not worth the Father’s grace.

I recently posted about Christianity being taboo in America and got some backlash. Here’s the thing. You won’t be persecuted for being a nominal Christian in America. In fact, America loves cultural Christianity. You can say, “God bless you,” and “Merry Christmas,” and wear your WWJD swag. That’s fine. But if you’re the kind of Christian who lives your faith; who defends Jews, calls abortion murder, is against “gender affirming care” for children, and p-rnography, you will absolutely be hated.
