This genuinely fucking sucks. I loved their narratives and storylines.
Spiders could’ve been up there with Larian and Owlcat with the right funding. You could see the potential clear as day.

yeah i think they were good, kinda above mediocre, not great, not terrible, close to games like avowed or outer worlds (which i adore) - but this is a predictable reality, we get a witcher 3 or a bg3 every 7-10 years that is a masterpiece and then a stable flow of above average games

The only redeeming thing about Andromeda was the gameplay, and even that’s being generous.
The story is flat, the characters are painfully one-note, and like Veilguard, it collapses under its own weight.
I’m tired of people pretending these games were “hidden gems” that got unfairly hated.

The beginning scene in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag in which Edward Kenway kills another Assassin in cold blood perfectly encapsulates who he is as a character.
He's like Luffy, but with no moral compass and majorly driven by greed, and after a while you realize there's this tug-of-war theme of defying destiny in the pursuit of complete and total freedom present throughout most of your playthrough.
He's not like previous Assassins who are incentivized by revenge or duty. He only cares about himself and money, and consequences of such a mentality follow him wherever he goes.
It's a truly unique Assassin's story. ⚓️
