You cannot say this earnestly when the entire pokemon community had a public meltdown when Popplio evolved & had a dress & became a mermaid instead of being a big buff circus clown otter. There is absolutely a layer of misoginy in the conmunity when it comes to feminine starters.

@PKSparkxx IVs were only important for competitive and never anywhere else. You can play every game without considering of even knowing about IVs perfectly fine.
Removing obfuscation in a game is good.

Sad to think about how the Pokémon I've come to love is changing. IVs have been such an important part of Pokémon for si long that it's hard to imagine competitive battling without them.

Pokémon games were always bad at explaining the niceties, but this time they have training missions to explain stuff. There's no good reason to remove features and strategies like Eviolite.

@plushievgc It’s not dumbing it down, it’s making the game far easier to understand what is going on so kids and new players can pick up the game faster and not be so frustrated in not understanding what’s going on. There’s a lot of stuff I had to look up that the game never explains.

Why are we dumbing the game down in multiple ways in order to appease the hypothetical new player who is too dumb to figure out things most current players literally figured out in 5 minutes, often times as children? Do they think people are dumb? Do people like that even exist?

For now Pokémon Champions will only be compatible with fully evolved Pokémon.
Developers have confirmed that non fully evolved Pokémon like Porygon2 and Clefairy won’t exist in the game, but could be added in the future.

@sergiioriios @CentroLeaks It actually adds more uncertainty to the game cause if you switch too early you will lose weather control the next turn. If you mega too early you could loose your weather control that turn
