@Masterflip_ Agree 100%. They really have no reason to even be on the field. Every play can be determined with 100% certainty without any officials. Does that make the game better? I think so. But others will argue the opposite.

Hot take: If we have the technology, we should be getting the call right 100% of the time. MLB needs to fully implement ABS for balls and strikes and get rid of traditional umpiring once and for all!

Kodai Senga is probably going to be criticized by Mets fans, but he just gave you exactly what Christian Scott did and got praised for last week. He was punched in the mouth first time through and then punched back. Curious to watch him try to build off it.

@TonyD59772266 @asollecito11 Well you still have a couple of things to take into account. 1. Are they giving up on 3 SPs all at once and going a new direction? The Mets didn’t. 2. Who is available that’s better? Peralta and they got him. 3. Who is going to take them and what’s it going to cost?

Kodai Senga begged and begged on his knees for the Mets to keep him this season. This is a guy who can’t stay on the field and when he does he has trouble throwing strikes, let alone putting hitters away. He currently has an ERA of 10. Saw this coming from a mile away. Makes no sense as to why they didn’t move him.

The Reds are just as pathetic as the Mets except they’ll play little league ball all day long with no shame just to try and get a win.

One on with no outs and couldn’t even get him to second. You can complain about Senga all you want but when there’s this many opportunities to get runs in and you can’t that’s a bigger problem.

@01Starblazer He’s a career 3.39 era including his 9.00 this year. Fragile maybe but overrated is a tough one to argue. The issue is like the rest of the rotation, there’s no workhorse. Leads to injury and overworked pen.

I have nothing against Kodai Senga. He's just fragile and grossly overrated by this fan base. At best, he's a backend starter. In reality, he's a guy who should consider returning to Japan to finish his career. This team ain't going anywhere. Play the kids. Get better.
