This Female Air Traffic Controller who seems excellent at her job & also really sweet is working while she’s really sick with most likely a respiratory infection & they won’t allow her to take any time off she said. You can hear how concerned the Pilots are while talking to her!

Also, this is during landing, not near the max airspeed. Much less energy.
Also, little to no fuel on board since they were landing compared to the start of a cross-country flight.

So strange. I have a similar tale:
I threw a round of 20mm at a wall once (pretty hard!), and it didn't do much damage at all. But then we strafed in combat with the same 20mm round fired from our F-15E, and somehow we were able to inflict immense damage.

So you mean to tell me, an airplane can go right through the World Trade Center that had steel structure beams of 4 inch plate every 40” using 12 different grades of steel with a yield strength of 100,000 psi but if the same plane were to run into a firetruck on a runway the plane is completely destroyed. @ItsJustFritz_ @TheStevenDwayne Airport firetrucks are absolutely massive, with extremely large tanks. A normal fire truck needs to fit in a 12' wide lane. An airport firetruck has no such limitations.
