#Rahat_Indori sahab's response to a person who called him a 'jihadi.' His was an inimitable style of poetry which held nerves of the younger generation. Your poetry will remain immortal sir. मैं जब मर जाऊं तो मेरी अलग पहचान लिख देना, लहू से मेरी पेशानी पे हिंदुस्तान लिख देना-

The Muslim Matter India
The Muslim Matter India@TheMuslimMatter·
ABP News and some other channels portrayed a home video from Eid as being linked to the TCS case. The channels are showing a video of Tausif. In the clip, Tausif is seen putting a black cap on his Hindu colleague Krishna. The news channels are presenting it like this: “Tausif was seen making a Hindu employee wear a cap before namaz.” However, it is clearly audible in the video that Tausif says: “This is a special cap brought from Rajasthan, for Krishna. He has come to our home for the first time, so we are honoring him. Eid Mubarak, brother.” Krishna also wishes him “Eid Mubarak.” They hug each other and sit together to eat sheer khurma. The way the news channels are presenting this video suggests an intention to portray Muslims negatively.

Hi @IndianExpress, there is no 'Journalism of Courage' in misreporting facts. There was no 'women's Bill' in the first place. If you have decided to report false narratives as news, then drop the tagline at least!

The @BJP4India has cheated the women of India yet again. Knowing fully well that linking delimitation to Women's Reservation would lead to the Opposition voting against the bill, and being aware that they lacked the necessary numbers, the government introduced the bill in a rushed manner. The emotions of the women of this nation are being exploited for political mileage. I urge all women to see through this web of deception and teach the BJP a lesson, beginning with West Bengal, where a woman is leading the battle. Secondly, now that the bill has failed to pass, they should wait for the 2027 Census so that an OBC sub-quota can be incorporated. Representation remains hollow until all communities are uplifted. #WomenReservation #DelimitationBill #LokSabha

It is not the Women’s Reservation Bill that has been defeated, as being claimed by Govt and Godhi media. The proposal to reserve 33% of seats for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies was passed in 2023. What has been defeated today is the BJP government’s attempt to use delimitation as a tool to undermine India’s democracy and federal structure. Despite assurances from the PM and the HM that southern states would not lose out in the delimitation exercise, no concrete provisions were included in the bill to back up their claims. The Govt unilaterally convened special sittings of Parliament in the middle of state elections, apparently hoping to divide the opposition while shielding itself behind the women’s reservation issue. Their real intention was to to increase the strength of the Lok Sabha from 543 to around 850 seats and carry out large-scale gerrymandering of constituencies — similar to what was done in J&K and Assam. We challenge the government: If it is genuine about the empowerment of women, then bring forward an amendment tomorrow ( session is there tomorrow also )to implement one-third reservation for women with immediate effect ( instead waiting for the new census to complete and thereafter Delimitation process) based on the current strength of the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies. We will fully cooperate in passing it… #women empowerment #Indian Federalism #Indian Democracy

It was painful to watch Andhra Pradesh TDP MPs speak in the Lok Sabha today. Not just because of their poor oratory skills but also because of how they were doing somersaults around their core party ideology! To quote founder, the original doyen of Telugu Desam Party & former CM Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR) in the same sentence of extending support to delimitation is absolutely cringeworthy. NTR established TDP for Telugu Pride, he vowed to not bow down to Delhi pressures. తెలుగువాడి ఆత్మగౌరవం unfortunately was today gift wrapped and delivered to Delhi bosses without an iota of self respect. At least TDP is doing this because they are desperate to make Nara Lokesh the CM with Delhi’s blessings. Why are YSRCP and Janasena being party to this circus..?? Today, Andhra Pradesh is suffering and will continue to do so as all three regional parties - TDP, YSRCP & Janasena have pawned their self respect and the state’s right to fight to Delhi.

In the #Nashik #TCS case, not only Arnab Goswami’s Republic made Nida Khan a “terrorist,” even Vijeta Dahiya, script writer for Dhruv Rathee, went a step further and called her and other accused “Islamist terrorists,” dragging an entire religion into it. From prime-time TV to social media, different platforms, same lazy demonisation of Muslims, painting them as sleeper cells, conversion agents, and a collective threat. No due process, no nuance, just labels, outrage, propaganda, and open Islamophobia disguised as commentary.

The bigger question is hard to ignore: did these nine undercover officers, reportedly inside TCS for 40 days, not even know the difference between an HR manager and a telecaller? What exactly were they doing all that time? If this basic lapse is true, then serious action must follow. Those responsible should be held accountable, including removal from service if negligence is established. Before anything else, accountability must begin there. Who allowed this misinformation to spread and why? Increasingly, this appears less like a flawed investigation and more like a fully scripted narrative, one that seems to have been amplified and possibly pushed with a political motive. When facts are this blurred at the source, what follows cannot be called an investigation. It becomes a cascade of assumptions, amplified without verification.

If you are following the TCS Nashik controversy, pause for a moment. A 26-year-old pregnant woman, Nida Khan, was turned into the face of a national outrage within hours. Called a “mastermind.” Some branded her terrorist, absconding. Projected as an “HR head.” Dragged into wild conspiracy theories. Now reports suggest she wasn’t even in HR, wasn’t absconding, and hadn’t worked in the Nashik office for months. So what was this? An investigation… or a full-blown media trial? A workplace complaint became “Corporate Jihad.” Rumours became headlines. And a woman’s life became collateral damage. If she is guilty, let the law punish her. But if she is not -who takes responsibility for this public lynching? This is not journalism. This is narrative manufacturing. @TCS @nashikpolice @DGPMaharashtra @NCWIndia @PressCouncil_IN @MIB_India

MP @asadowaisi demands division on 'introduction' of the #Constitution (One Hundred and Thirty First) Amendment Bill, 2026. When voice vote was conducted, bites 'ayes' and 'noes' were quite loud (see video), but Speaker said that Ayes have it. As Opposition MPs pressed for division (recorded vote), Speaker tried to discourage by saying that save this time for debate, later recorded voting will anyway have to mandatority happen on this Bill. Now vote is happening. Please note: Since this is only the 'introduction' of the Bill, it doesn't need special majority. #womenreservation #delimitationbill

Tejasvi Surya just referred to women reservation as 'encroachment'! Unbelievably sick, but true (see video). He is arguing why seats need to increase to 'accommodate' women reservation. Giving example of #Kerala, he says that if after Census of 2027, delimitation happens on basis of 2027 Census, Kerala seats will come down from 20 to 14, if the total number of seats remain at 550. But then, he says that of these 14, 1/3rd will need to be reserved for women. MPs like K.C. Venugopal will lose their seat and the very clearly says that, "Narendra Modi government's proposal is to not only protect existing seats from 'encroachment' but also to ensure that Kerala doesn't lose out'. Women reservation is not encroachment, it is a constitutional imperative, a right. But well, it's expected of men to feel threatened every time women demand what is their due. But glad that Surya made it amply clear that all these Bills are really not about women, it's just about consolidating power! #womenreservation #delimitation

Bengal’s vote isn’t uniform. Across caste, community, and region—patterns vary. From forward castes to OBCs, Dalits, Adivasis, and communities like Matuas and Rajbanshis, it’s a layered picture. Data, maps, and ground voices show how complex this election really is. Just see this photo and ask yourself - WHY? From national TV to this stark reality - WHY? Dr. Pranaya Ray, one of the architects of modern Indian TV news, co-founder of NDTV, and a renowned economist, chartered accountant, pollster, journalist and author - who pioneered election forecasting in India - is now travelling across West Bengal, recording interviews on his own mobile phone for his digital platform Dekoder @DeKoderAI. Salute to Dr. Roy (@PrannoyRoy7749) for remaining an inspiration to honest journalism across the globe. What has changed? Who is accountable? History will not forget. Nor will it forgive.
