@Barneybalboa @iamrobothead Agree. I thought “The Last Jedi” meant force users had learned from the past and wouldn’t repeat the same mistakes, or even call themselves Jedi anymore. That’s why the force-sensitive kid at the end made sense. Then the next movie just dropped it.
English

@iamrobothead I liked some of the visuals and the fact that Luke actually addressed the hubris of the prequel Jedi. And the way he described the force (but I guess that was just a setup for the end where it literally was used just to lift rocks).
English

Which part is the good movie? The ridiculous slow space chase? The trip to the casino planet that was a waste of time. The main villain dying before doing anything? The jedi training that had no training? The final battle where all the good guys stood outside to get killed and flew ships that never fired a shot? The hero dying to stall the bad guys for 90 seconds? Where is this "Good movie" hiding?

The Last Jedi is a good movie (It’s just not a good Star Wars Movie)

@LiquidHbox Only tournament I’ve ever entered despite being a huge fan for years. It was a good time though! Took a game off someone and went 0-2 😅
English

@UniverseEZ @HSF__Music @LiquidHbox Ha, I get what you’re saying though. Miss the early days like that one Frostbite where he was crushing everyone.

Alright, which four players should be on Team USA for SSBU?

@HSF__Music @LiquidHbox Replace tweek with either light or wrath he’s not as good as he used to be unfortunately, just keeping it real

@ThePOTSPostman @LukeDashjr Based off your profile, you may have some protections under intermittent FMLA or potentially some sort of accommodation through ADA. There is a formal process for both, but likely worth it to avoid a write up if you’re ill and being asked to work more than your doc recommends.
English

@LukeDashjr I wish it worked that way, unfortunately I have to do it other wise it’s a write up.
English

@CONEY @alecrobbins I’ve seen you consistently praise Bioshock and consistently criticize Infinite. Just curious how you felt 2 measured up?
English

@alecrobbins as someone who hates/skims most game writing this is a great list and reminder of the good stuff, easy to forget
Lisa and Bioshock are my favs personally, especially the audiologs. recently, Dispatch's dialogue was excellent even if some chars were a lil too tropey

@LAGr_VXVX @PracticalTAS The new owner assumes all liabilities when purchasing. That’s what due diligence is for. In this situation I’m assuming there was very little. Creators may not get the entire contract in the end, but they will be on the list of creditors at bankruptcy to get something.
English

@PracticalTAS Depending on terms of the sale, the new owner could and probably owes nothing. Just a sad truth.
Similar situation as the when Steel Series bought Kontrol Freek, no partners got paid going forward including commission. My team is directly affected by that.
English

To all newly ex-Luminosity creators: unless your contract says otherwise, they owe you for the entire length of the contract, not just the last 3 months. Contact a lawyer to discuss your options.

@_Shari_Nya @AzazelSkye Right. I mean Umebura 12 was a P tier and it had less than 1,000. Scale is just different now.
English

@NickGordon007 @AzazelSkye Tbf Smash Con would be a P Tier by todays standards, Big House would probably be an S+ and it had 1000 entrants
English

@_Shari_Nya @AzazelSkye 9th and 13th at Supermajors definitely made sense for top 50. Smash Con had over 2,700 entrants. Tons of S+ have 1,000 or less nowadays.
English

@AzazelSkye I always think about this when I look at 2019 results
Like this being top 50 in the world is so fucking crazy to me 😭

English

@bluerosetori @SimuLiu @EricMilzarski @TempoAxe Seriously, let’s get a training session on the stream.

@automaticnba @HackneyManLee Has this ever come up before and he’s spoken about it? 35% rookie year average vs a career 28% afterwards is wild. Something had to change drastically.

@ShinyMark1 You were holding out when the bair hit look at the blue line

honestly surreal to be able to do this 11 years after watching the smash documentary

Looks like he pulled the Charizard from the Pokémon Celebrations set, which is a reprint of the iconic original card.
Its value really depends on the condition, but an ungraded one like the one in the video is currently worth around $64. If it gets graded as a perfect PSA 10, that value could go up to about $188.

@alibaba_mk @Kopter__ God I miss the good ole days with PT doing work every tournament.

@grok @yakkonchain @elonmusk Let’s say I want to have an equivalent amount of money to retire on in 2055 as 3 million dollars is today. I have 350,000 in retirement accounts and can expect to grow at the typical rate of the S&P 500 the last 30 years. How much is that and how much do I need to save each year?

Man. Don’t know how to explain it other than shock. Words cannot express the pain of this letdown. The frustration is unfathomable. I’ve worked my whole life to get to this moment and this is how it ends? Makes no sense.
Now that I’ve gotten surgery, I wish I could count the number of times people will tell me I’m going to “come back stronger”. What a cliche lol, this shit sucks. My foot feels like dead weight fam. But what’s hurting most I think is my mind. Feel like I’m rambling, but I know this is something I’ll look back on when I’m through this, as something I’m proud I fought through. It feels good to let this shit out without y’all seeing the kid ugly cry.
At 25, I’ve already learned that God never gives us more than we can handle. I know I’ll come out on the other side of this a better man and a better player. And honestly, right now, torn Achilles and all, I don’t regret it. I’d do it again, and again after that, to fight for this city and my brothers. For the chance to do something special.
Indy, I’m sorry. If any fan base doesn’t deserve this, it’s y’all. But together we are going to fight like hell to get back to this very spot, and get over this hurdle. I don’t doubt for a second that y’all have my back, and I hope you guys know that I have yours. I think Kobe said it best when in this same situation. “There are far greater issues/challenges in the world then a torn achilles. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, find the silver lining and get to work with the same belief, same drive and same conviction as ever.” And that’s exactly right. I will do everything in my power to get back right.
My journey to get to where I am today wasn’t by happenstance, I’ve pushed myself every day to be great. And I will continue to do just that. The most important part of this all, is that I’m grateful. I’m grateful for every single experience that’s led me here. I’m grateful for all the love from the hoop world. I don’t “have to” go through this, I get to go through this. I’m grateful for the road that lies ahead. Watch how I come back from this. So, give me some time, I’ll dust myself off and get right back to being the best version of Tyrese Haliburton.
