According to a report on unofficial @IpswichTown website — @twtduk, the club were initially unaware of the Reform UK media circus that was rolling into town. Claiming that they had no idea who had booked the club tour and that the management/ownership was not involved. They did, however, allow it to continue once they became aware of what was happening. This seems like an unusual and unlikely turn of events due to the access Farage seemed to enjoy, and several club shirts with his name printed on them. I have contacted the club's press department for comment. I'll report back with any response. If this is the case, it means that Farage is up to his usual tricks of breaking rules and dealing with the consequences afterwards.

I'm going to keep wanging on about our regulators and Ofcom specifically because I sense a genuine, impending danger. Here we see @KateEMcCann in a @TimesRadio clip, talking to Mohammad Marandi. I bet they didn't know they were being used in an online death threat. This has been up for four days and, despite having a pointless community note, remains there. We chatted about this on the pod @NoHoldsPod today [out tomorrow] and this incredibly dangerous turn of events. How is it possible to issue a bounty for the capture of another human being on social media … and for it to remain there for four days? I'd love to hear from Kate or anyone at the Times to understand; a) if they knew about this and b) will they pursue the removal of the video? It's in all of our interests that this is dealt with. After the New World article yesterday and Ed Davey bringing this up in PMQs, my article coincidentally dropped on the same afternoon. Mine focusses on Ofcom and the Electoral Commission, but there is a full segment about GB 'News'/Reform TV as well. It's a long read, and I wrote it from a deep feeling of concern. We don't have adequate check and balances in place any longer. Our political systems are being exploited on a second by second basis because the regulators cannot keep up. Reform UK and GB 'News' manufacturing a non-story to play the victim again. The screen grab is from the source of the outrage on GB 'News' website. The ludicrous contradiction, provided in the quote, seems lost on Suella. Almost as though it's performative outrage.
