I really don’t understand @Altard_State. It’s supposed to be a Christian company—they play Christian music in the stores and sell all of this Christian-branded merchandise—and yet their clothes are as hoochie, if not hoochier, than anything I see at nonChristian retailers! What’s the fattest thing you’ve done/ ate while pregnant? I’m pretty healthy in my pregnancies but with my daughter I ate 4 donuts in one day and with my son I ate the hugest prime rib it made me sick 😂😂

Unfortunately true. Took our 6 yo nephew to lunch one day and his nose was in his tablet the whole time. When we sat down for lunch I had to say his name 5 times to get his attention and I asked him “Hey bud, do you know where you are or what we’re doing?” He looks around and says “nope”. Then went right back to his tablet. He has the attention span of a goldfish. His parents try to take it away sometimes and it’s like they unleashed a demon. He also has eating issues and is too skinny and won’t eat because he can’t look away. Just like a drug addict. The videos he watches are some serious brain rot stuff too. He’s more interested in watching videos of other kids play with toys than he is playing with his own toys.

@abbythelibb_ The safest thing for your baby is to NEVER hold them and ABSOLUTELY NEVER let anyone else hold them; just keep them in a car seat with a safety helmet at all times!!

I've now been told multiple times that my child might die if I take a walk at the park with this setup (which I do), looking directly at him (objectively safer than using the seat in the car). People who say this stuff are thoughtless and cruel. Safetyism is a cancer.

Abortion is an absolute no go for me and I have had the thought and brief conversation with my husband before that if our child were to be born with a life limiting diagnosis then so be it. Is it easy? No. But sometimes God calls you to something you never imagined you'd ever have to face and we may never understand why.

@mamavestor @Elliesmommyy23 Through raising their kids, and unfortunately sometimes through losing them when the syndrome truly is life threatening. But I don’t think tragedies necessitate more tragedies, and that mom doesn’t need more pain inflicted by a needless choice that’s all

@mamavestor @Elliesmommyy23 For me- the kids who doctors said wouldn’t survive, walk/talk. They can and do. They give their parents purpose and teach us lessons we might not otherwise learn. I’ve seen parents start foundations bc of their children and parents who support each other

That’s amazing work that you! For me I admit I would have to consider how high risk my pregnancy was and my current living children and the probability of survival. I’m 40 weeks now with my third child and pregnancy and birth comes with its own risks. Definitely currently dealing with my own anxiety around birth now, I definitely have a lot of empathy for a mom who would come to this same point knowing their child did not have a good chance to make it. A pain I don’t think I can come close to imagining
