flerfs think all stars circle a fixed North Star (Polaris).
But Polaris isn't exactly at the true north point in the sky — the north celestial pole — where everything really spins around due to Earth's rotation.
Polaris sits about ⅔° away from the NCP. So over 24 hours, it traces a circle bigger across than the Sun appears (Sun ~½° wide; Polaris's circle ~1.3° across).
Over many years, Polaris also slowly drifts because of Earth's precession — the long, slow wobble of its axis.
So flerfs are wrong again: Polaris isn't fixed, and stars don't circle around it.

The North Star NEVER moves. Earth and Polaris are both stationary. It's all of the other stars that move, rotating in a perfect circle around Polaris. This goes completely against what NASA tells us, but completely FOR what we actually observe with our own eyes and senses. If you trust the former more than the latter, they've got you right where they want you.

Then, at 3:43 PM ET, President Trump said "I don't want to do a ceasefire with Iran," with the S&P 500 hitting a new 2026 low. Exactly 90 minutes later, at 5:13 PM ET, President Trump said the US is "considering winding down" the war with Iran. Between the 3:43 PM ET and 5:13 PM ET comments, the S&P 500 had already risen nearly +1% on NO news. By 6:15 PM ET, the S&P 500 rallied +1.8% from its low, adding +$900 BILLION in market cap. Markets are now closed until Monday.
