@Crypticinvest1 @kam_irl im making a game right now that i wouldnt consider to be big but it still adds up to tens of thousands of lines of code and it would be a nightmare to navigate without the structure. you just create your own template that works for you and then over time it becomes muscle memory

@PolyyDev @kam_irl For templates and big games perhaps but otherwise no. The majority of the Roblox dev community shouldn't try to overly structure their game.

Some Roblox devs spend more time organizing their code than getting players. Clean code doesn’t matter if no one’s playing your game. Players never see your file structure. Disregard this if you are making a big game or template!

@PolyyDev I might end up using baseparts around the edges of islands for collisions and then a visual mesh to render it. I've done a bunch of testing and it seems pretty fast though (assuming I chunk the mesh) so thats a last resort.

Grenades now go boom. I switched the terrain over to a custom marching squares approach. It's just creating thousands of parts right now. I will try out a dynamic mesh next + hopefully proper textures
