@authormikedc What a servant leader that is. Rather than becoming bitter by trial and toil she uses her newfound authority not to extract revenge but to assist those who also struggle but lack the ability to just step out of their lives.

@PyresMagicka Turns out, she was born in another world, where she was a princess. Once she gets to that world, she earns her right to rule, but abdicates so she can help non-nobles to get rights and stand for themselves.

Do you agree that we need female characters in books who are role models for readers because they are strong, feminine, intelligent, have emotional self control, are attracted to men but also practice restraint, and are not broken souls?

@MidnightRose838 A friend told me once, “If we knew everything what use would we have for God? For if we were omniscient we would be God.” This was strangely calming to me as someone who sought tangible proof of God for many years.

@PyresMagicka I’m not going to disagree as you’ve just described a few of the main characters in my novels.

@TCMartin_Books What does one of your protagonists do to be someone who leads where others fail?

@PyresMagicka Of course. My protagonists are always men to look up to. The antagonists get all those "other" traits.

@GeneDarkwrites What’s an example of your dad that captures why you are proud to model him in your story?

@PyresMagicka Yes please. I wrote Telamon to be that, but I made him the Girl Dad of my FMC because my Dad (1950 - 2025) was the best man I knew. I’ve put my bf in my series too, but he only got a supporting role (Centurion Stephanus has to obey Legion Legate Telamon hehe).

@RealSTAuthor I liked that about the Da Vinci Code and similar.

@PyresMagicka Some kind of unbreakable code - passed through generations. Those that break it lose their soul.. or something... haha.
