This is one of the earliest pictures I have of my brother Alan and me. Even back then, you can see that he had his arm around me, watching over me. That’s who he was. My protector. My guide. The one who quietly carried so much responsibility so the rest of us could shine. Alan was our leader in every sense of the word. His tireless work helped build everything we became. I will always be grateful for the sacrifices he made and the love he showed—not just to me, but to every member of our family. I owe him more than I can ever fully express. I love you, Alan. States should not be allowed to charge for dumpsters. The hillbillies would’ve called the garbage company and had one dropped at their house and this guy would still be alive. It’s because people cannot afford $600 for a fucking dumpster. I know that seems kind of odd but if you get to the heart of it that’s the real reason this guy died.

Howard’s wife, Kara Box, was right there filming but instead of calming things down, she pushed it further, shouting things like “You’re not gonna shoot my husband!” Gunfire broke out. Howard was hit multiple times in the arm, torso, head and later died at the hospital. If there is one spice, which could even be described as “magical” in terms of potential health benefits, it would be TURMERIC. Specifically, the curcumin in turmeric has some amazing research-backed effects against inflammation. There are also benefits for almost every bodily system, including the immune and cardiovascular systems. Fascinating studies have even been done showing antibacterial/antiviral effects of turmeric. I have personally ramped up my turmeric intake— both in food and as a supplement (there is some evidence that heating it up, can mildly reduce its effects). The benefits are actually nothing new, they have been known in eastern cultures for thousands of years (pro-tip: have it with black pepper/piperine in food or supplement to greatly enhance absorption). Personally, I take turmeric capsules instead of ibuprofen or acetaminophen if I ever have soreness after workouts or a mild headache. It works for me, and I always go natural over synthetic if I can.
