If the AI bubble pops, expect a $10T+ wipeout in Big Tech valuations overnight—NVIDIA, Alphabet, Microsoft, and the rest crater 50-70% as revenue misses hit. Capex dries up, triggering 1-2M+ direct layoffs in tech/chips/data centers, plus 3-5M indirect in supply chains and services. Poor: Poverty jumps 30-40%, welfare systems collapse under evictions and food shortages. Working class: Wages fall 10-20%, factories shutter, regional ghost towns form. Middle class: 401(k)s/IRAs lose $4-6T, home values drop 20-30%, college and healthcare become luxuries. Upper class: Portfolios halved, retirements pushed back 5-10 years. Elite: Diversified holdings cushion them, recovering fastest. Inequalities surge across every line—wealth (top 1% rebound while bottom 80% stagnate), income (gaps widen 25%), racial (minorities face 1.5x job hits), generational (millennials/Gen Z lose entry points), geographic (tech hubs vs. heartland), educational (public schools gutted), and health (state funding cuts spike untreated illness). Tax shortfalls of $300B+ slash infrastructure, forcing deficits or hikes that hit everyone but the insulated. This isn't a dip—it's systemic carnage where hype's bill lands hardest on the non-elite.

Project Hail Mary writer Andy Weir on social commentary in books: "I dislike social commentary. Like… I really hate it. When I’m reading a book, I just want to be entertained, not preached at by the author. Plus, it ruins the wonder of the story if I know the author has a political or social axe to grind. I no longer speculate about all possible outcomes of the story because I know for a fact that the universe of that book will conspire to ensure that the author’s political agenda is validated. I hate that." "I put no politics or social commentary into my stories at all. Anyone who thinks they see something like that is reading it in on their own. I have no point to make, and I’m not trying to affect the reader’s opinion on anything. My sole job is to entertain, and I stick to that." "To that end, I also don’t talk about my personal political opinions publicly. I don’t want readers to even know, honestly. I don’t want that in the back of their minds as they read my stuff." Is this why he has the #1 sci-fi movie in decades?

A new bill called the Parents Decide Act was introduced this week. The bill would require operating system companies such as Apple and Google to verify users' real age when they first set up a phone, tablet, or computer in the US. This “would” stop children from lying about their age to bypass restrictions on apps, social media, and AI platforms. A verified age and parental controls would then apply across the entire device. The full bill text has not been released yet.

🚨Just revealed at CinemaCon🚨 Here's your FIRST LOOK at Masters of the Universe merch coming soon to theatres

Remember when we laughed at kids that dressed like this? They really can't make up their minds with this movie. No wonder everyone hates it. Lobo will be the only "good" part of the Supergirl movie.
