@Shellmccabe The fact that one state (Israel) can accumulate so many UN resolutions without any real accountability is probably one of the reasons why we’ve ended up where we are on international law.

I once believed deeply in the European project. The EU’s response to Israel’s actions in Gaza, Lebanon & Iran—shaped heavily by German foreign policy—has turned this ardent Europhile into a skeptic. Germany’s selective approach to international law is now a liability for the EU.
