🔴 @British_Airways Airways has just equipped its first aircraft, a 787-8 registered G-ZBJJ, with @Starlink WiFi. The airline plans to roll out this high-speed connectivity across its entire fleet of over 250 aircraft, covering both long- and short-haul routes. BA is offering Starlink access free of charge to all passengers, without requiring a loyalty program login, which is unusual in the industry. Until now, the 787-8s were the only BA widebodies without WiFi, making this a significant upgrade. Once Starlink is certified for a type, installations proceed rapidly. A peek into Midnight's wing integration process: During manufacturing, each Midnight wing is inspected and assembled with subsystem parts before integration with the fuselage. The process of installation and validation includes high and low voltage wire routing and integration, as well as installation of wing extensions, tips, booms, and flaperon and control surface actuators. Once each wing completes these checks, it’s handed off to be integrated with the fuselage.

US EVA 94: Coming towards the tail end of today's EVA operations. Work on the 2A power channel mod kit was completed. Both crew members are working through stowing tools and closing out their work areas, before heading back to the airlock. Due to consumables, flight controllers decided to stand down from the following non-critical tasks: - Swabbing for micro-organisms around the exterior of the airlock (part II of an ongoing experiment) - Installing a lens cap on the Canadarm2 elbow camera Both tasks will be moved to a later EVA.
