ESPN sources: Giants All-Pro defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence has requested a trade and he will not be participating in the team’s off-season workout program that opens Tuesday. Lawrence and the Giants have been through two off seasons attempting to negotiate a contract reflecting his value to the Giants over the last three years, but there has not been any progress, per sources.

With Rashee Rice not expected to be suspended this year, he knows this is his best chance at earning big money next offseason. It’s a contract year. Plus, he’s got a better offensive coordinator and WRs coach this time. If he can stay healthy, I expect a great season from him in 2026. He’ll land a big contract either in KC or elsewhere for 2027 and beyond.

You don’t know what happened and if he’s actually guilty or not. She could have been paid money and didn’t talk. Sadly, this is the norm with major sports and DA/SA cases. It just sucks that men with money often get out of these situations. The outcome definitely doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

This isn’t evidence. How do we know where those bruises came from? Same with the pictures she posted? How do we know for sure who caused all that damage. The NFL will never suspend/fine a player unless there is clear proof of what they’re accused of doing.

@AdamSchefter I don't know if he is innocent or not, but the NFL isn't an investigative branch of anything. Who knows what there is, and what isn't, there for "evidence." If he is innocent I just hope he can put this all behind him and go on with his career.

NFL concluded today that Chiefs WR Rashee Rice “has not engaged in conduct that violates the personal conduct policy” and the investigation into accusations from his former girlfriend is now closed; there will be no discipline at this time.
Statement from his attorney Sean Lindsey: “Mr. Rice wants to thank the NFL for their thorough investigation, and looks forward to the start of the 2026-27 NFL season.”
